RE-SCRUTINY OF RESULTS

Theresultsoftheaboveexaminationhavealreadybeendispatchedtotheprincipalsandtotheprivate candidates. Applicationsforre-scrutinyofresultsoftheaboveexamination,preparedbycandidatesaccordingtothespecimenapplicationform(30cmx20cm)publishedwiththisannouncementshouldbesentbyregistered post to reach the Commissioner General of Examinations, Evaluation (School Exams) Branch,NationalEvaluation&TestingService,DepartmentofExaminations-SriLanka,P.O.Box1503,Colomboonor before 17.01.2020 . Please indicate "Re-scrutinyofResults-G.C.E.(AdvancedLevel)Examination2019(New/ Old Syllabus)"onthetopleftcorneroftheenvelope.

Inre-scrutiny,therelevantanswerscriptsarefullyexaminedbyseveralmembersoftheRe-scrutinyBoard.It is hereby emphasized that an upward or a downward revision of Z-score or Grade is possible as a result of re-scrutiny.

Thefeeforthere-scrutinypersubjectisRs.250/=.ThisamountshouldbepaidtoaPostOffice/Sub PostOfficeandthereceiptobtainedshouldbepastedfirmlyonthereverseoftheapplication.Please notedownthenumberofthesaidreceiptandkeepitalongwiththepostalregistrationreceiptoftheapplication.(Itisadvisabletokeepaphotocopyofthereceiptofpayment.)

4. Stamps,Cheques,MoneyOrdersorPostalOrderswillnotbeaccepted.

5. Aseparateapplicationshouldbesentinrespectofeachsubjectappliedfor.

6. TheIndexNumber,NameoftheExaminationCenter,SubjectNumberandSubject,Syllabus,Gradeobtained and the Medium should be correctly entered as indicated in the Results Schedule. It is theresponsibilityoftheapplicanttoreadtheinstructionscarefullyandfilltheapplicationaccurately.TheSubjectNumberand theSubject shouldmatchexactlyunder section01 (i), according to thegivensubjectlist.

7. Incompleteapplications,thosesentafterclosingdateofapplications(17.01.2020)andapplicationswithout the prescribed feewill be rejectedwithout any notice. Fees paid in respect of rejectedapplicationswillnotberefunded.

8. PrivatecandidatesarerequiredtocompleteonlytheSectionsfrom01to07oftheapplicationform.
