shallactasonestopshopfordisseminationofMSMErelatedinformation.

Activities contemplatedunderEDC shall includeRegistrationofEnterprise inUdyogAadhaar for free of

cost, Registration in MSME Data Bank, GST facilitation including GST registration/ returns �iling, DPR

preparation on nominal charges, Facilitation of Central and State Government Schemes and Other

PromotionalOrganizationSchemes, ConductingLoanandJobMelas,Handholdingfornewentrepreneurs

and mentoring services, Organizing Industrial Motivation Campaigns, tie up with Bankers and Market

Linkageswithgovernmentdepartments,CPSUsandLargeindustries.

EDC shall also bring out Quarterly e-Newsletter covering all important activities, Calendar of Proposed

eventsfortheyearandDisseminationofMSMESchemes.

State.ThemeetingwasheldunderthechairmanshipofShri.D.S.LokeshKumar,IAS,DistrictCollector,

Khammam.

Themainpurposeofmeetingistoprepareacomprehensiveactionplaninvolvingallstakeholdersfor

promotion and development of MSMEs in Khammam district. In Telangana state, three districts

namely Asifabad (Adilabad), Khammam and Bhoopalapalli (Warangal) have been identi�ied as

AspirationaldistrictsbyNITIAayog.TheStakeholdersmeetingwasattendedbytheDistrictCollector,

of�icials from MSME-DI, DIC, KVIC, KVIB, NSIC, Coirboard, NABARD, Lead District Manager, SC

SwachhBharatCampaigns–DriveTowardsCleanliness

AspartofSwachhBharatMissionofGovernmentofIndiaandinaccordancewithMinistry’sdirections,

MSME-DIconductedtwocampaignsandcleanlinessdriveinthemonthofMarch-2018.

SwachhBharatCampaignandCleanlinessdriveconductedatGandhinagarIndustrialEstateGandhinagar,

SwachhBharatCampaignwasconductedatMSME-DI,Hyderabadof�icepremiseson15 thMarch2018.

Of�icers of MSME-DI cleaned the of�ice premises after taking Swachhata Pleadge administered by

AdditionalIndustrialAdviser.

SwachhBharatCampaign andCleanlinessdrivewas conducted at

Cooperative Industrial Estate Gandhinagar, in association with

TSIIC IALA and CIE, Gandhinagar & Telangana Industrialists

federation(TIF)0n13thMarch2018.Theprogrammestartedwith

a small kick off session where AIA, MSME-DI emphasized

importanceofCleanlinessdriveandsaid it is theresponsibilityof

every individual to keep his surroundings clean. The campaign

startedwithtakingSwachhataPledge.MSME-DIof�icersalongwith

MSEs from CIE, Gandhinagar took a rally along the streets of the

Industrial Estate and cleaned the roads and surroundings of the

Industrial Estate. As part of the campaign all members were

providedwithCaps,Gloves,CleaningMaterials,Drinkingwateretc.,

stMSMEDevelopmentInstitute,Hyderabadorganizedcreditfacilitationworkshopon21 February,2018onMSME’sFinancialSchemeslikeMUDRA,CGTMSE,CLCSS,Startup,Standup,PMEGPetc.Theprogrammewasorganizedwiththesupportofbankers,SLBCandRBI.ShriD.ChandraSekhar,Addl.IndustrialAdviser,MSMEDI,HyderabaddeliveredWelcomeAddressandtheprogrammewasinauguratedbyShriPPalanisami,RegionalManager,SyndicateBank. ShriM.UdayKrishna,Head-MSME,ReserveBankofIndia,SriSVSaravanan,AGM,SBI,SriK.MadhusudhanaRao,AGM,BankofIndia,SriA.Ravi,AGM,SyndicateBank,SriM.BhujangaRao,LDM,CanaraBank,Hyderabadhaveparticipatedintheprogramme.Theobjectiveoftheprogrammeistofacilitate�inancialassistancetoExistingandprospectiveentrepreneursbyarrangingonetooneinteractionbetweenBankersandentrepreneurs.Of�icialsfrom11Banksviz.,SBI,CanaraBank,BankofIndia,BankofBaroda,AndhraBank,UnitedBankofIndia,AllahabadBank,DenaBank,HDFCBank, ICICI Bank and Syndicate bank have attended and interacted with prospective and existingentrepreneurs. 399 Existing & prospective Entrepreneurs have attended the programme with projectreports/proposals/ideas.MSME-DIarranged22countersforsmoothfacilitationtovariousbankbranchesandeachcounterattended15-20entrepreneurs.Afterinteractionwiththeentrepreneurs,around100proposalshavebeenacceptedbythebankersforfurtherprocessing.

MSME-DI,HyderabadregularlyconductsNationalandStateLevelVendorDevelopmentProgrammesand

provides platform forMSEs to display their products and showcase their talents. The programmes also

facilitatemarketlinkagesbetweenMSEsandgovernmentdepartments,CPSUsandlargeindustries.Itisalso

an opportunity for CPSUs to identify potential vendors and improve their vendor base. MSME-DI has

organizedseveralStateLevelVendorDevelopmentProgrammeswithCPSEs locatedacross thestateand
