Flying to the FINISH Practice makes perfect. Everyone hears this phrase at least once in their life and they should know that every word is true. When you practice enough, things come natural to you. In this assignment, practice proved to be worthy. With the tasks that we have been doing throughout this class, it helped me complete this assignment. We learned the content in the class, step by step. When all the steps are put together, it makes a process that works and has an achievable goal. We have to take our steps one at a time. Everyone may be at a different pace, as I learned in class, some people, myself in-cluded, would be a little behind and needed more help to complete the end goal. I wanted to create a story that had all these various details in it. This idea came to me and I ran with it. Track is in full gear now. Practices, lifting, and doing other exercises have been kicking my butt, but in the end, I know that with all this hard work it will pay off. I wanted to portray someone accomplishing a victo-ry, reaching an end goal, and showing how much hard work they must do to make a great finish. Some of the athletes on the team

do not realize this because would come in late or skip days. These athletes needed more encouragement and inspiring words to be dedicated to come to practice. In competi-tions, they wonder why they are not as good as the other competitors. Once they realize that with their hard work at practice, they can accomplish greater things, they will and can appreciate the training. If the team works together to reach the end goal, we can all accomplish amazing feats together. With one team, there is one heart. We all must bring our minds and attitudes together to help each other become better. We will be strong together standing side by side. We will tower over the other teams. I realized that I have to have the same motivation and attitude on the track as I do off the track. Reaching this end goal of com-pleting this class, exam, and semester makes me feel accomplished with the effort that I have put in. The cycle never ends though. We all have to keep working. Life always contin-ues, even if you are in a rough spot. If we all work hard and take one-step at a time or lend a helping hand or words of encouragement, we can fly to the finish line with ease.
