center.
2. Develop additional hurricane evacuation shelter spaces.
3. Convert emergency radio system to a national standard so more than 9,000 regional public safety users can communicate with each other during an emergency.
4. Build a hurricane-resistant facility to house Public Works’ emergency responders who support storm recovery operations.
