PERSPECTIVESOne, two, three point perspectives rendered in grayscale techni-cally drawn. To phase two of taking the concept of perspective and color theory to design three cohesive spaces that evoke a certain emotion.

PROCESS BOOKThe process book explores the forms and techniques of sketching and creating in a fundamental way. Understanding line weights and styles and the effect they have on a drawing, How to utilize shade and shadow. Plus, branding and how to create a custom logo.

LIGHT & SHADOWPROJECT F IVE The goal of this project was to create a public sculpture that played with light and shadow in a whimsical way. I wanted to toy with the concept of how light travels through translucent plastic to only light up the edges. This led to the discovery of etching the pieces of acrylic and resulted in the same effect of the etch marks lighting up just like the edges. Further study had me questioning how far the light would travel through acrylic if the pieces were not continuous but rather formed a mosaic, which also proved to be a promising feat, the light will travel through vast amounts of space as long as the edges are connected to each other however the power of the luminosity does decrease with distance. As for shadowing the translucent mosaic creates a colorful and transparent skeletal shadow of the cube, the colored tiles fill the shadow with vivid color providing a florescent and warped type of de stijl artwork on the ground and surrounding areas as light travels through and around it. Because of all of the colors and etchings, I wanted to keep the form minimalistic in order to not only achieve the previously studied lighting effects successfully but also to not overwhelm any observers. However in order to add interest and appeal to an otherwise lack luster cube, the form is whimsically balanced on one of its corners creating an illusion of weightlessness and magic. Observers can walk almost directly under the cube and be able to look directly through it.

CONCEPTConcept models and ideas experimenting with light and how it travels to and through the edges of transparent materials, specif-ically acrylic.

LIGHT + SHADOWThis project was to create a non architectural stucture that plays with light and shadow. Model and ideas for project were derived from prior concept models.

EXTRUSIONThis project required a two dimensional image to be extruded with purpose into a three dimensional contemporary art fixture.

MICRO DWELLINGThis project was to design a 160 square foot home for three users create a program and a model with a complete set of drawings.
