Planning Team Feedback
Planning teams summit goals included: Organize, engage, and develop collaboration (including dialogue and
trust building) amongst participants
Inform participants about the DWP process
Influence the City to consider the voice of summit populations in:
the Detroit Works Process
general City operations and services
Planning teams critiques include: Follow-up has been sluggish
Perceived lack of support/interest from DWP team and/or City
Next step include: Continued engagement of participants , e.g. email, meetings
Further development of recommendations, e.g. follow-up reports to City
Appeals to foundations for support
