Stephen King Info

Because Stephen King has been a prominent author for so long, he has many notable works of literature.

Notable Novels: Carrie, Salem’s Lot, The Shining, The Stand (series), IT, The Tommyknockers, The Green Mile, Bag of Bones, Duma Key, and Under the Dome

All of these novel’s have won Stephen King some kind of reward.

Works of Literature

Most of his stories are set in Maine. Most novels have the idea of small-town life. King was once hit by a van on a Maine

highway. Estimated Salary: $40 million a year Was once an alcoholic and drug abuser. Actually writes reviews for J.K. Rowling

based on the Harry Potter series. HUGE Boston Red Sox fan.

Quick Fun King Facts

He is a huge rock fan. - Typically listens to rock music while

writing. - HUGE ACDC fan.- Plays guitar in a small band himself.

More Facts

“I’ve killed enough of the world’s trees.” “Each life makes its own imitation of immortality.” “I am the literary equivalent of a Big Mac and fries.” “Harry Potter is about confronting fears, finding inner

strength, and doing what is right in the face of adversity. Twilight is how important it is to have a boyfriend.”

I know a few writers who claim not to read reviews, and I actually believe one of these individuals. I am the opposite: I anticipate bad reviews and brood over them when they come. But then I just kill a few children and old ladies and I'm right as a trivet again.
