Spiritual Emphasis
August 26 - November 18CORE is a 12-week, intentional focus on the central, foundational tenets of the Christian faith. Exploringeverything from the nature of God to eternity and the returnof Jesus (and everything in between), CORE will not onlydeepen your Christian convictions but also ignite a strongerpassion for discipling and mentoring others in how to followJesus.
As part of this series, you can participate and engage onseveral levels:
GROUP IT: with your Life Group or others you know whomay be interested, meet weekly in groups no bigger than 3-4people (or 2 couples) to discuss, process, and practice usingour Group Discussion material.
PERSONALIZE IT: personally go deeper by walking through4-5 personal devotionals each week (20-30 minutes in lengtheach). These devotionals are designed not only to get youinto the Word but also to help you to apply and practice whatthe Word teaches.
SHARE IT: catch the vision for taking others through anintentional process of discipleship. Whether it’s a familymember, a coworker, a close friend, or someone you just met,
you now have the resources needed to help another personlearn how to follow Jesus and become rooted in their faith.
All materials are available online at www.beltway.org/core or in limited print at both Park Connections (north foyer) andthe Learning Center (south foyer).

Life Groups
What is a Life Group?
Real life change rarely occurs in isolation. That’s why at Beltway youhear a lot about getting together in small groups. Gathering literallyall over Abilene and the Big County, people from every stage of lifemeet in homes to follow Jesus more closely. You might not think thatengaging truth or ministering to one another could be so informal –yet be so intensely rewarding. Simple. Spiritual. Encouraging. LifeTransforming.
To learn more about our Life Group ministry, search online atbeltway.org/lifegroups, or speak to one of our Life Group pastors.
