An Entrepreneurship Excellence Program (EEP) is a multidisciplinary academia-industry training program focused on knowledge-based value creation aimed at fostering entrepreneurial skill- and mindset among students through the completion of real innovation challenges

WHAT IS THE EEP?

CIEL will launch 3 thematic Entrepreneurship Excellence Programs (EEP) which aim to unfold full learning and societal impact through:

•  Academic Excellence"•  An entrepreneurial teaching approach " (REAL project challenges) "•  A high-profiled, collaborative and cross-" disciplinary platform"•  A joint action between institutes and " corporate partners""

WHAT DOES EEP AIM TO ACHIEVE?

WHAT RESOURCES ARE INVOLVED ?

The participating institutes will for each EEP receive: •  1 teaching assistant professor or “post-doc” for 18 months"•  DKK 250.000 in developing means (guest lectures, travel, etc.)"•  Substantial development support from CIEL""

The participating institutes are for each EEP committed to deliver:""•  ½ full-time professor for 18 months (in total DKK 650.000) "

DELIVERIES

Each Entrepreneurship Excellence Program (EEP) will deliver: •  1 internationally recognised summer school in 2012 and 2013"•  At least 1 ECTS course (curriculum integrated) in 2012 and 2013 "•  A number of initiated student projects (theses, PhD) "•  An embedded/sustainable model for further collaboration"

JOIN THE PROGRAM

To apply please submit a 2-3 page application describing the following: ¢  Your scientific area and the educational focus, including student

profile and student population size

¢  Your network of academic and corporate partners and motivation on how you collaboration is key to an EEP, including the expected societal impacts (educational, entrepreneurial, scientific and economic)

The application template, available at www.ciel-lab.dk, provides a guideline for your application and includes questions on the following: ¢  Scientific/educational theme(s) ¢  Course content ¢  Learning goal ¢  Student profiles relevant to the courses/summer schools ¢  Student population sizes and the expected number of students participating

in the program ¢  Academic and corporate partners and your experiences in collaborating with

each other ¢  Societal relevance/impact ¢  Budget ¢  Co-finance, names of professors and time allocated ¢  Contact person

The EEP will be selected based on a full evaluation of the application document. Particular emphasis will be placed on the following criteria: �  University and societal impact / value creation (economic, social,

scientific, educational and entrepreneurial) �  Student profile and population expected to follow the courses �  Academic excellence �  Collaboration across at least two universities �  Established network among university and corporate partners (private,

public organizations, industry)
