system
A wide range, to meet every needThe products of the GREEN WALL range are designed to be installed in the metal frames or directly on the plasterboard sheets, without the need for any additional kit - in fact they are fixed by means of special screws for plasterboard (already available on the construction site). The fixing tabs and metal clamps ensure the quick, intuitive installation of the products.
Reduced installation times
Innovative systemThe increasing use of plasterboard in the building field is changing the methods and techniques for creating electrical systems. To meet the new construction requirements, GEWISS has produced the GREEN WALL flush-mounting system, purposely designed to make it easier to create electrical systems in buildings with lightweight or plasterboard walls: the first complete system for electricity distribution that integrates perfectly with the much-appreciated modern building techniques.
The GREEN WALL flush-mounting system, recognisable by the green colour of the back-mounting boxes and the boxes for modular ranges, is the most complete system on the market. It consists of enclosures and boards, junction boxes, boxes for domestic ranges and for KNX and digital vision devices, and boxes for interlocked switched socket-outlets.
Junction boxes Enclosures and distribution boards
Fixing for lightweight and plasterboard walls requires reliability and safety. Each item of the GREEN WALL system has specific technical characteristics that GEWISS has adopted to make installation as quick, easy and reliable as possible.
Safe, reliable fixing To facilitate installation, GEWISS has introduced certain innovations on these products, such as the references that help sheet tracing (cusps) in preparation for the cutting, and specific systems for fixing and holding the conduits, like for the 3, 4 and 6 gang boxes. These characteristics mean that product installation is quick and easy.
Ease of installationThe products of the GREEN WALL range meet the product Standards and CEI 64-8: these specifications state that flush-mounting boxes installed in hollow walls (lightweight or plasterboard), suspended ceilings, raised or mobile floors must be made of a self-extinguishing plastic material that passes the Glow Wire Test at 850°C.

performance
As a partner of CasaKyoto, GEWISS confirms its commitment to producing solutions that offer high energy yields whilst respecting the environment. The CasaKyoto project aims to renovate buildings, providing insulation that respects the Kyoto Protocol requisites for the reduction of CO2 emissions.
With an eye to the environmentThe design of the new products allows them to be quickly and easily installed directly in the plasterboard structure, without the need for any accessories.
Integration
Top-class solutionsThe current standards of building systems for lightweight and plasterboard walls have reached high performance levels with regards easy laying, mechanical and seismic resistance, surface hardness, load resistance, thermo-acoustic insulation and environmental compatibility. Applications with these building techniques have been successfully adopted for some time now in various contexts: schools, hotels, offices, shops, factories, prefabricated wooden buildings, hospitals, not to mention the increasing use in the residential field as well. Plasterboard or lightweight structures are proven systems that bring advantages from both the technical and the environmental viewpoint. The GREEN WALL range combines all these characteristics and integrates perfectly with this type of structure, allowing the full, safe installation of an electrical system in every residential, commercial and industrial place.
The structure and material of the Green Wall boxes guarantee high resistance to mechanical stress and crushing. Following successful lab tests, the GREEN WALL products now bear the IMQ mark.
Top-quality performanceAll the Green Wall products are made of halogen-free material (in compliance with EN 50267-2-2) and are therefore ideal for installations in public places: in the event of a fire, these materials produce fumes that are less dense and less toxic - a characteristic that makes them suitable for installation in places where there is a high concentration of people.
Halogen-free productsGEWISS combines the specific innovations needed to develop the GREEN WALL range with the numerous advantages of the equivalent products for installation in masonry walls.

Attention to detail
details
The 24 SC GREEN WALL rectangular boxes with 3, 4 and 6 gangs, and the round boxes with 2 and 2+2 gangs, are an innovative solution for the installation of domestic and domotic ranges, using fixing clamps. The family is completed with the rectangular 4+4 gang version (that can also be used for KNX command panels and flush-mounting video entryphones with speakerphone) and the back-mounting box for installing command and management panels for the domotic system.
The specific geometry of the knockouts allows the conduit to be easily inserted and firmly held in its seat. Thanks to the “L” profile, the conduit can rotate in its seat (from horizontal to vertical), facilitating the positioning of the box in the wall cavity.
Innovative conduit “locking”The front edge is reinforced and provides a larger (uninterrupted) support surface compared with the market standard; a characteristic that ensures wider coverage of the cutting area. The boxes with 3, 4 and 6 gangs are pre-arranged to house a divider so that different circuits can be separated (without losing modularity for the 3 gangs).
Larger edge
The boxes have knockout openings for housing conduits ø 20mm and ø 25mm, as well as opening profiles for conduits ø 16mm and ø 32mm. They are positioned in such a way as to fully exploit the available space. The structure and material of the boxes guarantee high resistance to mechanical stress and crushing.
Full access Thanks to the references on the box, the drilling points (A) are quickly and easily identified. The alignment slots (B) allow the installer to position the box perfectly, on the basis of the chases made on the sheet. Assembly is from the front of the sheet: ideal in the case of maintenance, extensions or renovations.
Assembly from the sheet frontThe back-mounting boxes of the 24 SC GREEN WALL range have fixing tabs on the metal frame or directly on the sheet, and are ideal for the installation of domestic ranges (4+4 gangs), KNX command panels, Digital Vision flush-mounting video entryphones, Master and Vision Master touch-screen panels.

Installation flexibility
installations
The range of 40 CDKi GREEN WALL enclosures and boards consists of 5 sizes (from 12 modules to 72 modules), available in the version with high-resistance smoked glass door, hinged with elastic elements that guarantee opening angles of more than 180°. The four sizes of the 48 PT DIN GREEN WALL junction boxes offer considerable space for housing and fixing the conduits. The range also includes a version with transparent cover (ideal for places where it is important to be able to inspect the earth node) and two large-capacity sizes (48 CM GREEN WALL) ideal for housing a larger number of conduits (e.g. uprights). GEWISS also produces special boxes for installing 67 IB and 44 IB vertical and horizontal interlocked switched socket-outlets.
The 40 CDKi GREEN WALL enclosures and boards have a modern style, with a wide front and an extractable frame suitable for circuit segregation using dividers. The ample space available makes it easy to insert and fix the conduits, and to hold all the equipment and relative wires in place.
Ample installation spaceThe back-mounting boxes of the enclosures and distribution boards are equipped with special tabs for fixing on metal frames. With the aid of special screws for use with plasterboard, the back-mounting box of the board or enclosure is fixed to the metal frame by means of the tabs. The back-mounting boxes also have cusps: specific reference points that make it easier to mark the sheet in preparation for the cut.
Safe, easy fixing
A DIN rail is already built into the back-mounting box of the 48 PT DIN GREEN WALL junction boxes, allowing the easy installation of domotic and modular devices, and terminal blocks. The box covers have a rounded shape to avoid the build-up of dust, and their satin surface makes them easier to paint.
Attention to detailThe boxes can be fixed to the metal frame of the plasterboard (using the fixing tabs) or directly to the sheet (using the tabs, the back-mounting box is fixed with special screws for plasterboard, tightened from the front of the sheet). The back-mounting boxes have reference points so they can be fixed to masonry walls before the plasterboard sheets are positioned on top.
Maximum wiring safetyWith the box for vertical interlocked switched socket-outlets, every type of 67 IB socket-outlet (16A and 32A - SBF, CBF and AUTOMATIKA) can be installed. There are also two versions for horizontal socket-outlets, with or without a fuse-holder. These boxes have ample space for inserting and fixing the conduits.

Depending on the pre-arrangement of the fixing tabs on the back-mounting box of the products, the installation can be performed in two ways:
A) For back-mounting boxes with tabs on the sides of the horizontal walls, use an extra horizontal frame (made with “U” guides).
B) For products with tabs on the sides of the vertical walls, use the vertical “C” uprights used for fixing the sheets.
The structure is created with the aid of special screws for use with plasterboard, then the back-mounting box is fixed to the frame by means of the tabs.
Depending on the type of product, there are two fixing methods:
A) The plasterboard is prepared (chasing and cutting), then the back-mounting box is fixed to the sheet with the aid of the tabs, then anchored from the front of the sheet with special screws for use with plasterboard.

B) The boxes for modular domestic ranges (3,4,6 gangs) and the round boxes can be fixed directly to walls (even double sheet walls) using the metal clamps. To prepare the sheet for the installation of the boxes, use a hollow mill ø 68 (for rectangular boxes of 3,4,6 gangs) or a hollow mill ø 65 (for round boxes), using the references on the boxes themselves.
On the back-mounting boxes of the junction boxes and the boxes for interlocked switched socket-outlets, there are reference points allowing them to be fixed on masonry walls with the aid of simple wall plugs. Once the back-mounting box has been fixed in placed, the plasterboard sheet can be positioned on top; this type of installation solution is especially handy in the case of renovations.

Intuitive, immediate and user-friendly, the Trade Catalogue
contains all the information you need on the Domotics,
EnergyDIN, EnergyBLOC, EnergyBOX and Lighting ranges:
apart from the product codes, you can find the selection
tables for each range.
CHORUS CONFIGURATOR
Advanced animations and interactions
will guide the end consumer to the definition
of the cost estimate, containing the GEWISS
functions that are ideal for the selected solution
for the home. Furthermore, the user can learn
about the functions GEWISS offers, selecting
the scene closest to his domotic needs.
A TOUCH OF STYLE
A mood configurator that sets the right
mood for your home, which can be shared on
the main social networks. You can play with the
lighting elements, moving them as you wish
and you can also load photos of your home and
decorate it with the Chorus plates.
IMAGINE WITH GEWISS
Can you imagine what your home can
do for you? An enjoyable test can help you
discover which “domotic type” you are and will
suggest the right products for creating your
ideal home.
GEWISS renews itself. It renews itself profoundly. A new choice of direction
and thus a new style.
GEWISS has created a new portal that is dedicated to the end user, guided by the
“efficient and comfortable home” project. A mood configurator, animations and
interactions make it possible for the user to approach the world of domotics and
discover the innovations of the world of GEWISS. Professionals can access the
professional area dedicated to them at the top of the home page following the
“professional area” link, where they can find the catalogue, software and receive
technical and sales support. Discover it through the sections on the home page:
