When a newly established automotive OEM in China had an ambitious goal to deliver an all-new electric SUV, Tata Technologies was their partner of choice. The final product was an all-aluminum SUV that broke lightweight index benchmarks of even German OEMs; adhered to the highest global safety standards; and was delivered in record time, from a drawing on a piece of paper to validation prototypes in a span of 20 months, driving together towards a greener, sustainable future.

With a mature globally distributed execution model to deliver fast and optimized solutions across engineering analysis and modeling, continuous engineering support, core product design and development, manufacturing engineering, manufacturing and repair concessions, justification, embedded systems, product lifecycle management and enterprise solutions, we are preferred partners for leading global aerospace and defense OEMs and their suppliers.
When the world's largest Trent engine MRO was looking for a specialized engineering partner for Tool Designing & Manufacturing support, it joined hands with Tata Technologies. Our engineering prowess was applied across different facets of the customer's business landscape - Engine MRO and Component Repair. Our team enabled space optimization and cost-savings of up to 65 percent by accommodating new variants of engines on existing tool with minimum modification. Our tooling harmonization skills were imperative in saving over USD 300,000.

In today's macroeconomic and hyperconnected environment, off-road sectors like construction, farming, and mining are in dire need of reinventing their business models and the way heavy equipment is manufactured and validated. Stricter emission rules, the need for newer and better designs, penetration of digital applications like telematics and big data all call for engineering and technological prowess. Years of experience in New Product Introduction (NPI), systems engineering and complete machine development in the Industrial Heavy Machinery (IHM) sector make Tata Technologies the preferred engineering partner of leading machine makers. Our IHM team specializes in mechanical engineering; product design; electrical, electronics and embedded design; control systems; powertrain and hydraulics.
Tata Technologies became the first Indian Engineering Services Outsourcing (ESO) company to demonstrate full machine development and system integration capabilities by developing a backhoe loader for an Indian construction equipment and heavy machinery maker.
Our full vehicle development capabilities helped the provider gain market share in India through improved aesthetics, fuel economy, and lower production costs in the industrial heavy machinery market. This partnership made way for engineering innovations to be implemented for the betterment of the heavy machinery ecosystem.

700+ seater capacity state-of-the-art European
Innovation and Development Center (EIDC) at
Warwick, UK. This center has facilities to carry out
teardown and benchmarking activities. Our
experts also analyze vehicles, put together
prototype parts and demonstrate and showcase
project work for the customers at this facility.

Known as Axia – Vave Centre of Excellence - the
labs are a response to the growing global demand
for frugal engineering services and our will to push
the boundaries of innovation. With ample space for
teardown, our engineers carry out multiple
projects in this lab to facilitate lightweighting,
reverse engineering, should cost analysis,
competitive benchmarking, cost optimization, and
product analysis services. The R&D centers are
equipped with the latest tools, software, and
machinery and can be used to perform
benchmarking studies.

This is a one of a kind lab in the Asia Pacific region,
capable of testing up to 100 kVA. It can carry out
testing of various products such as converters,
inverters, AC/DC drivers and locomotives. The lab
is powered with a variable frequency power source
(0-800 Hz) at 40kW. Equipped with components
like measuring devices, development kits, power
sources, loads, etc. the lab is capable of covering
the entire V model product development cycle for
an embedded system design.
