Brain Computer-Interface (BCI) systems: BCI systems utilize measurement of

brain signals for communication or control via a computer-based signal processing, feature extraction, feature translation and device command scheme.

Real-time interaction with the computer and some form of feedback are key components of a BCI system.

Brain Computer-Interface (BCI) systems: EEG-based systems to date have

primarily utilized the following cortical signals: 1. Slow Cortical Potentials (SCPs) 2. Sensorimotor Rhythms (SMRs),

particularly µ (8–12 Hz) and β (18–26 Hz) rhythms

3. P300 event-related potentials (ERPs)
