ECHS HOMECOMING & SPRING FORMAL DRESS CODE

Why do we have a dress code?

ECHS staff and administration want students to make good choices. We are not trying to inhibit their style. School dances should be fun, but we

want everyone to be comfortable, safe, and dressed appropriately

to positively represent our school.

With modesty in mind, the following dress code guidelines

will be enforced at the 2009 ECHS Prom.

#2 Dresses may be backless as

long as they are not cut below the navel.

#5 For short dresses, the length should be no shorter than knee length.

These dresses fit the dress code.

While we will be reasonable in our interpretation of these guidelines, we want students to know that they will not be allowed into the dance if they

are dressed inappropriately. This dress code, however, does not limit students’ ability to show their

unique style.
