The Creative Arts Program began in 2012 with a mission to teach life skills to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities through the performing arts. CAP has been instrumental in developing and fostering some of EEDA’s most celebrated community partnerships. In fact, CAP is 100% community-based: All CAP activities, rehearsals and

performances take place at either The Gateway, The Vail-Leavitt Music Hall, and/or The Peconic Ballet Theater. Most recently, they were seen in a production of The Wizard of Oz at The Gateway Playhouse in Bellport.
