MOVES TO MOVE- DANCE (GROUP)

• EVENT DESCRIPTION:

Moves to Move, is a platform to dance to foot tapping numbers showcasing the group skills, techniques and styles of Retro to Metro dance forms. The dance can be choreographed for a single or a fusion of songs.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

Only three teams per category are allowed to register.

Maximum no of participants per team - 10 to12. Group will be given 1 minute for stage set up and 4

minutes for performance.

Participants have to bring their own props (if any)

Costumes must be modest. The soundtrack (MP3 format) has to be handed over to the class teacher before 12th of November 2019.

Decision of the judges will be final.

WITHER THE WEATHER- SINGING

(GROUP)

EVENT DESCRIPTION:

The participants are required to sing a song based

on the theme “SEASONS”. The participants may

choose the language ( Hindi, Tamil or English) and

genre to suit the group.

RULES AND REGULATIONS:

Only two teams per category are allowed to register. Maximum no of participants per team - 10 to 12 (including the instrument players). Group will be given 1 minute for stage set up and 3 minutes for performance.

In case of musical instruments/ karaoke is required, the participants will have to make their own arrangements.

The soundtrack (MP3 format) has to be handed over to the class teacher before 12th of November 2019.

Participants must choose the song based on the theme “SEASONS”. Decision of the judges will be final.

GLITTER and GLOW-FASHION SHOW (PAIR)

EVENT DESCRIPTION:

GLITTER and GLOW is a platform for a

designer to show off a particular aesthetic, a

particular feel based on the theme “INDO

WESTERN” clothing.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

Only three teams per category are allowed to register. No of participants per team – 2

The choice of pairs can be *Male & Male * Female & Female * Male & Female

Time limit is 4 minutes. Attire must be modest. Participants must follow the theme – INDO WESTERN. The sound track should complement the theme and the style of

the theme. The soundtrack (MP3 format) has to be handed over to the class

teacher before 12th of November 2019. Decision of the judges will be final

SPIN 2 WIN –ADAPT TUNE(PAIR)

EVENT DESCRIPTION:

The participants are required to perform to the given

music tracks. The music will be changed at regular

intervals and the participants will have to adapt to

the changed music-Western/Classical/Folk/Fusion.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

This is a pair event & not more than 3 entries from each category can participate in this event.

The choice of pairs can be * Male & Male,

* Female & Female

* Male & Female.

Time limit is 3 minutes.

The participants will have to adapt to the mixed music played impromptu(on the spot) between –Western, Classical , Folk , Fusion.

Decision of the judges will be final.

VOICE OF THE STAGE- SOLO SINGING

EVENT DESCRIPTION:

The participant may choose the language and genre .

RULES AND REGULATIONS

• Any number of participants per category is allowed to register. • This is a solo performance competition.

• Auditions will be conducted during the first week of November to select the finalist.

• Two participants per category will be selected.

• Participant will be given 1 minute for stage set up and 3 minutes for performance. In case of musical instruments/ karaoke is required, the

participants will have to make their own arrangements.

*Decision of the judges will be final.

DANCE OUT LOUD-SOLO DANCE

EVENT DESCRIPTION:

The participant may choose the language

and dance style to suit his/ her comfort.

• Any number of participants per category is allowed to register.

• This is a solo dance competition.

• Auditions will be conducted during the first week of November to select the finalist.

• Two participants per category will be selected.

• Time limit is 3 minutes.

• Decision of the judges will be final.
