Bear Grylls

History

Edward Michael "Bear" Grylls (born 7 June 1974)

is a British adventurer, writer and television

presenter. He is best known for his television

series Man vs. Wild, known as Born Survivor in

the United Kingdom. In July 2009, Grylls was

appointed the youngest ever Chief Scout at the

age of 35.

DocumentariesBear Gyrlls is a survival specialist. He is most famous for his

work in the documentary first showed on Channel 4 called,

Bear Grylls – Born Survivor or also known as Man vs. Wild in

other countries. This documentary stopped being showed on

Channel 4 then transferred to The Discovery Channel.

He has new series coming out in 2013 called ‘Get Out Alive’

which is currently still in pre-production. This series will test 2

teams and their survival skills. Travel-documentary/reality TV

series.

His documentaries are mainly shot in the participatory mode.
