Few things have a greater impact on us in this life than knowing about our heritage - who we are, where we have come from, our culture, our
ancestors.

So….as we look for Temple work to do(Green Temples)….we can also get to know those we are doing the work for.
“If you look deeply into the palm of your hand, you will see your parents and all the generations of your ancestors. All of them are alive in this moment. Each is present in your body. You are the continuation of each of these people.”
Tich Nhat Hanh
Sometimes this happens. When birth date is within 110 years, you
need to be the closest living relative or have permission from
the closest living relative.
This can be a more complicated problem.
Skip these until you can meet with a consultant and go over them with
someone who can help you.
What if I am unable to complete all the
Ordinances that I have requested?
Since the Youth are only able to do the Baptism and Confirmation , you can either share the other Ordinances with a family member or you can share
them with the Temple.
If by some chance, look and look and cannot find any Temple work to do for my
family…….then what?
There is always something that you can do to help progress the work and get to know your ancestors.
1. Add pictures and documents to Family Search 2. Add Record Hints on Family Search3. Get to know your ancestors by reading the documents and
seeing their pictures already posted on Family Search4. Share your knowledge with someone else
