Dental Bridges Defined

Dental BridgesThese are suggested for patients who have encountered most cases of tooth loss.

Dental BridgesIt is an artificial replacement for the loss tooth characterized by a crown used to replace the area.

3 Types of

Dental Bridges

Traditional Fixed Bridge

This type of dental bridge can’t simply be done by extracting the decayed tooth in your mouth and replace it as you wished

to.

Traditional Fixed Bridge

This process is characterized by placing the pontic (false tooth) over the gaps left by the

extracted tooth and held in place by porcelain veneers.

Resin Bonded Bridge

This type of treatment is recommended for patients who simply lost their front teeth.

Resin Bonded Bridge

This is less expensive than the other treatments but it requires the abutment teeth to be strong and healthy enough

and shouldn’t have large fillings as well.

Cantilever BridgesThese are also suggested for the missing

front tooth/teeth just like the resin-bonded type but their main difference is

the price.

Cantilever BridgesThis procedure is characterized by

connecting the pontic to one side with the use of your remaining teeth beside the gap left by the missing tooth/teeth.
