Genesis 6:5Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great upon the earth, and that every intent

of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

This world was a mess from the earliest times.

Luke 11:29As the crowds were increasing Jesus said, “This

generation is a wicked generation..”

The world was a great mess in Christ’s time.

Matthew 23:33Jesus said to the scribes and Pharisees, “You

serpents and brood of vipers, how shall you escape the sentence of hell?”

Jesus lived in a tangled mess.

Matthew 24:7ffJesus said, “Nation will rise up against nation, and

kingdom against kingdom, and in various places there will be famines and

earthquakes……”

The world will become a greater mess.

II Timothy 3:1

Realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. For men will be lovers of self and of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful,

unholy, unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self control, brutal, haters of good, treacherous,

reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than

lovers of God, holding a form of godliness…

A growing mess in priorities.

I Peter 4:12Don’t be surprised at the fiery ordeal among you,

which comes upon you for your testing, as though some strange thing were happening to

you.

The mess gives us opportunity for the message.

John 3:16 God so loved the world that He gave His only

begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him, will not perish but have eternal

life.

The world may be a mess, but Godloves and sees beauty in ashes..

II Peter 3:9The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing any to perish, but for all to

come to repentance.

God’s desire is to save, not destroy.

Matthew 24:14Jesus said, “The gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to

all nations, and then the end will come.”

When you think your life’s messed up, remember that He will give you a chance to hear Him before He shuts

this thing down.
