A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT

Thank you, Country

Springs Nursery, for

both hosting and

supplying the food

and beverages at

the April meeting.

Country Springs

always comes through for us

and I hope everyone takes the

time to order their plant

material from them this season.

We enjoyed a great presentation

by Stephanie Brock from

Riverbend Nursery on “What

is New and Interesting in the

World of Perennials”. The

meeting also had some great

raffle prizes including tickets to

both the Orioles and National

baseball games.

The Day of Renewal and

Remembrance is on July 17th

and we will be looking for

probably two volunteers to

attend from our branch. Sara

and I have gone the last two

years and I hope that someone

else will be able to take

advantage of this special

opportunity and attend this year.

If interested please let me know

ASAP and I will get your name

to National.

Our next meeting is May 4th

at Newsom Seed’s facility in

Maple Lawn (Fulton). This is

a great facility and it has been

several years since we have

been out there. Newsom will

be both our host and sponsor.

See everyone on May 4th.
