Friday May 18, 2012TIMES: The 3 Gun Challenge begins at 9:00 A.M. Registration begins at 8:00 AM. (Pre-Registration at Range Control Building West Wing Room 165 until 1630hrs).

FIREARMS: Pistols (service-grade) Government/Department issue or individual private weapon (.38, .9mm, .357, .40 or .45 cal). Rifle (service-grade) Government/Department issue or individual private weapon (223, 5.56, 380, 7.62 cal). Shotguns (service-grade) Government/Department issue or individual private weapon (12, and 20 gauge) ( 2 ¾ shell - 7 ½ to 9 shot ).

AMMUNITION: New or Remanufactured of the correct caliber, duty or target grade. Ammunition must be provided by the individual or the department represented.

COURSE OF FIRE: Individual and 4-man Team events. Pop-Up Targets / Steel Targets / Clay Pigeons Targets all is a timed events.

FEES: Match fees for the event are $25 individuals (lunch is included with registration) and $10 per team member.

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT: Comfortable Range clothing including a baseball cap or hat. Holster designed for the pistol being used.

a. Pistol Types = .9mm, .38cal, .357cal, .40cal, or .45cal (No Laser sights or Scopes are allowed during the competition).

b. Rifle Types = 223, 5.56, 308, and 7.62 cal (No Laser sights or Scopes are allowed during the competition).

c. Shotgun Types = 12 or 20 gauge 2 ¾ shell 7 ½ to 9 shot (No Laser sights or Scopes are allowed during the competition).

d. Hearing and Eye protection is mandatory for competition. Competitors are responsible for their own Hearing and Eye protection.

Alternate bad weather day is 21 May 2012.
