tig. Wahrnehmung setzt sich zusammen aus
tausenden sich verlagernden informationen
und Bildern, die der Organismus zu einem
ganzen synthetisiert. Müsste der menschli-
che Organismus allen informationen die ihn
erreichen seine uneingeschränkte aufmerk-
samkeit schenken, so wäre dies die totale
Überforderung. Wahrnehmung ist aus die-
sem grund immer und notwendigerweise
selektiv.1
jede Darstellung, ungeachtet ihrer stilisti-
schen Variationen, immer auf der selektion
aus dem informationspool unserer alltägli-
chen Wahrnehmung und deren neuzusam-
mensetzung besteht.

„souverän bringt er seine Vorstellungen
zum ausdruck. seine Bilder im Kopf werden
durch excellente Maltechnik, kompositori-
sche Leichtigkeit, perspektivische Wahrheit
und fabelhafte Farbgebung zu einem schön
„gefährlich“ anmutenden ganzen.
augenfällig in der sperrgut-serie. auch in
seinen selbstortraits oder dem Portrait von
Hank Williams. auch seine Landschaften...
Unergründliches spricht daraus. sie haben
etwas anziehendes, magisches, surreales
und gleichzeitig lassen sie einen mindestens
sanft frösteln.
Die Dualität des Lebens spricht daraus. Ein
indiz dafür, dass sich der Künstler intensiv
für die Lebensfragen interessiert, sich da-
mit auseinandersetzt, nichts schönt und auf
seine art, magische Momente produziert –
magisch unheimlich, magisch schön.“
“He expresses his ideas confidently. the
paintings he has in his head turn into a
beautiful, seemingly‚ dangerous‘ whole
thanks to his excellent painting technique,
compositional ease, perspective truth and
fabulous colouring.
Eye-catching in the bulky goods series.
also in his self-portrait or the portrait of
Hank Williams. and in his landscapes… an
unfathomable thoughts speak from it. they
have something attractive, magic, and sur-
real, and at the same time they still let the
spectator shudder slightly.
they speak of the duality of life. this shows
the artist has a deep interest in vital mat-
ters, that he confronts and considers them,
does not beautify them and produces magic
moments – magically eery, magically beau-
tiful.”

i was cruising on my speedboat in a loop around her hips
Busy like a planet my head was spinning, too i took her eyes for stars
Where physics fails she makes her moves and makes me move
(she said:) Let me be a Harbour 4 U and your Motley Crew
i want the wind to blow heavy and the rain to fall hard i want you to pervert every word i know and tenderly collide...
speed up, you are not dead, yet!
Far from san Remo where no one ever stops i switched of my Remote and on a Powerboat i took her for a ride
Where logic fails it takes a while to take what you want
Will there ever be a Harbour 4 Us ?
speed up, you are not dead, yet!

Werimregen-mantel kreisrundeLandschaftsbildermalt , sollte darauf achten, dass bei
anwendung der Verlauftechnik die eigene
Hand nicht mitverwischt. in diesem Zustand
eine Farbpalette zu halten, dürfte alsbald
zum aufkommen bestens gelungener Ent-
fremdungsgefühlen führen. Man kann der
anwesenheit solcher gefühle zwar durchaus
mit selbstironie begegnen. Doch dürfte auch
mit Humor die dynamische Eigentümlichkeit
des Bildes nicht zu bremsen sein. Der Rah-
men des Bildes etwa könnte in die dritte
Dimension ausbrechen und sich so vor den
Regenmantel schieben.
Überhaupt be-
Entpalisierung hingegen schon.
Who paintscircularlandscapesinaraincoat should wat-
chout that when using the wash technique
the hand itself does not smudge. to hold a
colour palette in this state could soon lead
to the creation of the excellent- ly accom-
plished sensation of alienation. However,
one can certainly respond to this sensation
with self-mockery. Yet, it should not even
be possible to inhibit the dynamic peculi-
arity of the painting by means of hu- mour.
the framework of the painting could break
out into the third dimension and thus move
in front of the raincoat. this would rai- se
the question for the spectator whether that
painter is before, behind or inside the land-
scape, which also calls his function as a
painter into question. anyway, the enti- re
constellation would gain a surreal note,
which would probably be linked to the risk
that the reception is deflected into unknown
spheres. Before this background the unity
of the piece seems to be in danger. More
so, the end of the unqueried supremacy of
the painting over its context would become
conceivable. Let’s take the colour palette
for example; it could not differentiate itself
from its own product, i.e. the painting it has
nourished with its colour. the Latin syllab-
le pala implied in the word palette, which
stands for a straightforward area, could
not lend its name any longer. We could not
speak about straightforwardness any lon-
ger, instead certainly about ‘depaletting’.
