About the University :
The Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (formerly known as Nagpur University) was thestablished on 4 August, 1923. Presently the University is having forty Postgraduate Teaching Departments
(PGTD), three Constituent Colleges / Institutions (Dr.Babasaheb Ambedkar College of Law, Laxminarayan
Institute of Technology, Bar. S.K. Wankhede College of Education) and Rajiv Gandhi Biotechnology Centre and
Centre for Sericulture and Biological Pest Management Research. University offers courses in all the nine
faculties namely Arts, Science, Law, Social Science, Engineering & Technology, Commerce, Home Science,
Education and Pharmacy. The teaching faculty of University and research students carry out research in thrust
and interdisciplinary areas supported and funded by various Private, State and Central Government agencies.
The University was reaccredited with “A” grade by NAAC.

1) The Technology Park in association with the Vidarbha Productivity Council, Nagpur organized “ Discussion-cum Workshop of University Teachers and
Industrialists/Entrepreneurs of Nagpur area” on 10th October 2008 at the University Convocation Hall.
2) The “ Technology Park” and “University-Industry Interaction Centre” of the rashtrasantTukadojiMaharaj Nagpur University, Nagpur organized workshop “
Current Research Scenario in the University: Prospects for industries” on 29th March 2012 at the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, RTMNU,
Nagpur.
3) “An Interactive Workshop between University and Industries for Technology Development and Transfer” organized on Wednesday, the 29th August, 201at
the Guru Nanak Bhavan, RTMNU, Nagpur.
4) Subject Specific Workshop on “ Recent Trends in Bio Fertilizer Productions Technology” organized on 27th February, 2013, at Rajiv Gandhi Bio
Technology Centre, RTMNU, Nagpur.
5) A Workshop on “ Advance Techniques in Pharmaceutical Analysis” organized on 28th February, 2013, at Department of Pharmacy, RTMNU, Nagpur.
6) A Workshop on “ Chemical Processing Technologies” organized on 28th February, 2013 at LIT, RTMNU, Nagpur.
7) A Workshop on “Some Plants Based Techniques for Entrepreneurship and Self Employment” held on 14th March, 2013, at the Department of Botany,

8) Celebration of “ National Technology Day” and Inauguration of RashtrasantTukadojiMaharaj Nagpur University Innovation Council and Patent cell, on
11May, 2013, at Department of Physics, RTMNU, Nagpur.
9) A Workshop on “ Patent and Related Issues” held during 28th and 29th October, 2013, at Guru Nanak Bhavan, RTMNU, Nagpur.
10) Organized workshop on “Innovative Technology Platform for Research” jointly by Department of Biochemistry, RTMNU, Nagpur and Technology park
on 23rd February, 2016. Experts from relevant fields has deliver the lectures on this occasion. Participant from all strata including Industries, Academia
has attained the lecture.
11) Organized workshop on “Patent and Related Issues” on dated 10th March, 2016 at GurunanakBhavan, RTM Nagpur University, Nagpur. About 5 noted
speakers from the field of Patent has been delivered lecture. Enormous response was received for this seminar. Participant include Teachers, Researchers,
graduate and post graduate students from university. Along with this, some peoples from the industries has also attained the workshop.
12) Organized Workshop on “Marching Towards Innovative Research” at Rajiv Gandhi Biotechnology Centre, RTMNU Nagpur on dated 21stMarch 2016.
Noted speakers has delivered the lecture on this occasion. Participant included the teachers, researchers and students.
13) Organized and Sponsored (Technology Park, RTMNU) Science Week Celebration on 26-28 feb 2018 at RTM Nagpur University Nagpur.
14) Co-ordinator for National Science Day organized by IIL, IQAC and Technology Park of RTMNU on 28thfeb 2019.
15) Every years we are arranging the different developing programs to the RTM Nagpur University, Nagpur.

State-of-Art Facilities Available and Services May be offered to the Industries:
Teaching Departments of the Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University are the Institutions which
have over last fifty years developed and established themselves as centres of higher learning. They are capable of
delivering the best possible solutions to problems faced by Industries, Laboratories and the Society. These
Departments have acquired expertise in their respective branches and specialisations and have enriched
themselves with sophisticated equipments and modern infrastructure by raising funds from various funding
agencies like Department of Science and Technology (DST), University Grants Commission (UGC), All India
