1. RegisteringatConnectedCooking

BeforeyoucanuseConnectedCooking,youneedtoregisterasauseratConnectedCooking.comorviatheapp(iOS/Android).Youwillbeaskedforvariousinformationaboutyourselfand/oryourcompany,whichwillthenbeencryptedandtreatedconfidentially.Afterwardsyouwillreceiveanemailwithanactivationlinktoconcludeyourregistration.

2. Initialregistration

WhenyouregisterwithConnectedCookingforthefirsttime,thesystemwillstartaninteractivewelcometourtoexplaintheindividualfunctions.Youcaninterruptthistouratanytimeanddeactivateitforfuturelogins.

3. Installationbriefinstructions

3.1 SelfCookingCenter®

1.SoftwareupdateDoamanualupdateofthesoftwarewiththelatestversionusingaUSBstick.

2.ActivatingDHCPPleaseactivateDHCPinthenetworksettings. (IfyoudonotworkwithDHCP,thenetworksettingsmustbeprovidedbyyourITteam.)

6.Addaunit(computer)Youcannowconnecttheunitonyourcomputer.Todoso,firstclickon“Myunits”andthenon“Add+unit”.

7.Addunit AwindowwillthenopenwhereyoucaneithermanuallyenterthecodeorscanbyclickingonthecodesymbolandthenscanningintheQRcodeoftheunit.Pleasegiveeveryunitaname(e.g.SelfCookingCenter61E)andassignittothecorrespondinggroup.

3.ActivatingConnectedCookingPleaseactivateConnectedCooking. The“ShowRegistrationCode”fieldwillthenbedisplayed.Pleaseclickonthisfield.

4.Registrationcode AwindowwillopenafterclickingonthefieldonyourunitwithanumbercodeandaQRcode.YounowneedtousethiscodeontheConnectedCookingplatformfortheconnectionprocess.

5.Addunit(app)Younowhavetheoptionofaddingtheunitusingtheapp.Todoso,firstclickon“MyUnits”inthemenuandthenonthe“+”inyourunitoverview.

ConnectedCookingoffersyoumaximumconvenienceifyouadaptittosuityourcompany.

4.1Administration

Numerousfunctionsareavailabletoyouastheaccountadministratorunderthemenuitem“Administration”.

4.1.1 Companyinformation

YoucanedittheinformationregardingyourcompanythatwasrequestedwhenyouregisteredintheCompanyInformationarea.

Thisfunctionisonlyavailableforuserswhohavebeenauthorizedasan“AccountAdministrator”.All“AccountAdministers”inyourcompanywillbeinformedbyemailifanychangesaremadetothedata.

Thedataofthemaincontactfortopicsrelatedtoserviceandsupportcanbeupdatedunder“Contactforservicepartners”.Inthecaseofaunitmalfunctioning,thecustomerserviceorservicepartnerrecordedwillbecontacted.

3.2Installationwithoutanetworkcable

YourunitscaneitherbeconnectedtothenetworkwithanetworkcableorbyusingaW-LANadapter.W-LANadaptersarereadilyavailableforalmosteveryapplicationbutarenotasuppliedbyRATIONALAG.

Installationexample

1.TheW-LANadapterisconnectedtotheRATIONALunitusinganetworkcableandpluggedintothepowersocket.

2.ConnecttheW-LANadapterwithyourrouteraccordingtotherespectiveinstructions.

Aunitgrouping,kitchenorbranchofacompanyrepresentsagroup.ConnectedCookingwillalwaysautomaticallycreateamaingroupaftertheregistrationprocess.Agroupcanonlybecreatedbyanadministratorofthemaingroup.

Ifyouoperateyourunitorunitsinonelocation,yougenerallydonotrequireanyothergroups.Ifyouoperateyourunitsatdifferentlocationsorindifferentkitchens,youcanaccuratelyrepresentyourcompanystructurebyaddingothergroups.

Youcanstorethefollowinginformationforeverynewgroup.>Nameofthenewgroup(e.g.therespectivebranchorkitchen)>Parentgroup>Furtherinformation:–Addressinformationofthegroup(e.g.theaddressesoftherespectivebranches)

–Servicepartnerresponsibleforthegroup(optional)–Contactpartnerresponsiblefortheservicepartner(optional)–Thetimezoneinwhichthegroup/locationislocated(automaticpresettingofthetimezone).Thetimezoneisessentialforautomaticallysynchronizingthetimeoftheunits.

Furtherinformationisrequestedwhenyouregisteryourcompanyandisassignedtothemaingroup.Everynewgroupisthenautomaticallyassignedthisinformationinthefirstinstance.Itcanbechangedatanytime.

Thefirstadditionalgroupthatyoucreateisautomaticallyassignedtothemaingroup.Youcanfreelydefineaffiliationforeveryadditionalgroup.

Anexample:TheBurger&Friescompanyoperates8branchesinGermany.Thesebranchesarelocatedatthefollowinglocations:

AuserisapersonauthorizedtoaccessspecificdatawithinConnectedCooking.Whenacompanyinitiallyregisters,thefirstuserisautomaticallyenteredas“AccountAdministrator”.Thisuserroleisprovidedwiththerequiredrightstobeabletoconfigurethecompanyandtoinvitenewusersintothesystem.

Otherusersalwaysneedtobeinvitedbyanauthorizeduserforthemtobeabletoaccessthesystem.Theauthorizationlevelofthenewuserandthegroupforwhichthisappliesisspecifiedintheinvitation.

Concludedcookingprogramtransfersaredisplayedinthetablesarrangedunderneathandserveasasourceofinformationafterwards.Thisdataisdisplayedtoallusersthathaveaccesstothecompanycookingprograms.

4.5 HACCPdata

TheautomaticHACCPdocumentationprocessrecordsalldatathatisassociatedwiththeunitsinthecompanyandpresentsthisinalist.HACCPdataissavedinConnectedCookingfor6months.AnuploadoftheHACCPdatatotheConnectedCookingplatformcanbeswitchedonoroffbyusersundermySCC.

Theindividualauthorizationsofuserswillbetakenintoconsiderationsothatonlythedataoftheunitthatbelongstotheassignedgroupwillbedisplayed.

4.4.6 SendingcookingprogramstounitsTheprocessofsendingcookingprogramsisbasedonshoppinginanonlineshop.Simplyclickonthe“Add”buttonandthecookingprogramwillbeplacedina“shoppingcart”,whichwillthenbesenttotheunits.
