2018-19 Areas of Emphasis1. AFDO be a Leader who facilitates collaboration on the FSMA rules by

identifying the challenges and possible solutions in the implementation of these rules in the upcoming year.

2. Promote and facilitate a move toward greater harmonization between the retail and manufactured program standards

3. Work to bring additional states into AFDO through outreach, invitations, and encouragement.

4. Work to promote greater collaboration and cooperation related to retail food program.

5. Improve the communication of accomplishments of AFDO and its members.
