Summary:

• None of the test persons experienced noise or humming noises in the hearing aid

• All test persons could hear more soft sounds than they were used to

• All test persons wanted to keep the receiver

2. End-user test Sweden

• 11 test persons– Different hearing aids (Oticon, ReSound, Widex, Phonak, Bernafon)– Varying hearing loss– Work and home environment– Ages from 22-60 years

• 8 test persons experience better speech intelligibility immediately

• 1/3 think that they hear almost too well, not too loud, but very very clear

• 8 test persons experience a more natural sound than what they were used to using ALDs, no humming no drop-outs

Summary

Could we make any common summery for tests with DT10?

– The users experience good speech intelligibility, could follow conversations more relaxed in different sound environment

– The users commented especially on good sound quality

– There was very few or no drop outs

– The users were used to ALDs and comment that the sound is more natural in DT10 than what they were used to.

– DT10 seems to work in a good way with all manufacturers’ hearing aids

– The degree of hearing loss does not seem to influence the satisfaction with the sound quality and speech intelligibility

– Users commented about the size of the hearing aid with audio shoe and DT10, but in the end they chose the DT10
