• Focus on platforms aside from Facebook• No plan or strategy to establish an online presence = no

success• Lacking planning and Measurement• Established audiences but not using resources

available/uninformed (would like to target younger girls)• Online activity did not correlate with actual efforts –they

interact well within the real community

Implementation of Editorial Calendars – get what is important out, be consistent, measure accurately, gain exposure

Online analytical tools that tell you everything from the gender and age of the people that look at your posts to times of the day that result in the most activity etc.

How they can do it. • Get some help!

Hire an intern

• Know what resources are available and when to use them. In order to do this, you have to have accurate measurement

• Don’t be anxious. Know that it takes time for social media campaigns to show dramatic results
