GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS

• 4 credits English

• 4 credits Math

• 3 credits Science (1 Biological , 1 Physical Science, 1 Other)

• 3 ½ credits Social Studies

• 1 credit Fine Art (Music or Art)

• ½ c Health , 1/4 c PE I & 1/4 c PE II

• ½ credit Financial Literacy

• 5 Additional Electives

22 TOTAL CREDITS NEEDED TO GRADUATE

What is an honors diploma?

GRADUATION TESTING REQUIREMENTS

In addition to earning 22 credits, students must take

the following End of Course Exams (AIR Assessments):

• English 9 & 10

• Math I & II

• Biology

• US History

• US Government

• Tests are graded on a scale of 1-5.

• Students must accumulate a minimum of 18points in order to graduate.

• Students must score a minimum of :

4 points in ELA

4 points in math

6 points in social studies & science (combined).

TESTING PROGRESSION BYGRADE LEVEL

9th Grade English 9, Math I or II, Biology

10th Grade

English 10, Math I or II, AP US History and/or US History AIR

11th Grade

American Government AIR

12th Grade

AP Government Exam and/or Am Govt. AIR

*Starting with the school year 2016-17, ALL 11th graders will be required to take American Government unless they are taking AP Government their 12th grade

year.
