• Accessibility enhancements for sighted users:

– Full support for tooltips

– Making the accordion accessible via keyboard controls

– Identifying an explicit tab order

New Integration Scenarios

• Two new School integration scenarios:– S15 - RUMBA equivalent of SMS

S14 for iPad– S16 - RUMBA equivalent of S8

(stand-alone for Mac/Windows)

• Enhanced S11 for CCNG (eCollege)

• Updates to publishing/promotion forms with new S15 & S16 fields

• Almost 300 titles now in process!

• RUMBA authentication• Non-modal audio and audio text sync• Enhanced offline capabilities

– Offline personalizations• User can create notes, highlights and

bookmarks in off-line mode• The most recent changes will take precedence

– Chapter download– Cross-reference links

• Manage expired book content

Android eText app

• Similar to iPad version

• 7+” tablet size

• Honeycomb or new O/S

• SMS, RUMBA and eCollege versions

• Q4 2011

eText Digital Library

• Browser-based search service that allows users to search keywords and display matching eTexts

• Search service can be accessed via web interface or inside eText

• Immediate access to subscribed titles and purchase option if not subscribed.

• Variety of search filters (i.e. discipline,author, titles etc.)

• Will also connect to Jazz in v2.0• HiEd Nursing is first client• Scheduled to be released Spring 2012

Pearson Custom Library

• First phase - Enhancement to existing Highcrest system will allow creation of eText digital delivery and print delivery.

– Also desire automated SMS/RUMBA set up

– Typical delivered through custom portals

– Delivery in Jan 2012

• Second phase - Additional offline Mac/Windows client with synch to online version.

– Delivery - Q2 - 2012?
