In May 2008, Judah traveled to Tororo, Uganda, where he made some new friends.

When he returned to Hawaii, Judah told his 5th grade class about the kids in

Before Judah’s next trip, the class collected clothing that Judah could take

There are always lots of kids to play with around Mama Kevina School

and lots of animals to observe

The Sisters from Mama Kevina school invited the children
over to take tea

poor neighborhoods around the school

As Judah says, his African friends “might only have one pair of clothes,
and those may have rips in them.”
