projectionandlightinginfiveCityWinerylocations.PETALUMA,CALIFORNIA,April11,2017—CityWineryvenuesacrosstheUnitedStatescombineafullyfunctioningwinerywithintimateconcerts,foodandwineclasses,finedining,andmore.Withover300eventsin2016,CityWinerydecidedthatitwastimetoredesignandrenovateitsAVtechnologytocommunicateseamlesslyacrosseachvenue’smanyrooms.Todoso,theycalledontrustedNashville-basedtechnologyintegrationfirm,TourSupplyInc.“WewereapproachedtohelpdesignanewAVsysteminCityWinery’sNashvillelocationthatwouldconnectalltechnologythroughasingularinterface,”saidtechnologyintegratorLanceWascomofTourSupplyInc.“WesuggestedthatELANserveasthevenue’s‘brain,’andbuiltoutthesystemfromthere.Followinganincrediblysuccessfulinstallation,CityWineryaskedustodesignexpandedA/VrenovationsforitsAtlanta,NewYork,andWashingtonD.C.locations.”ThesystemsacrossCityWinery’smultiplelocationsarenearlyidentical.WascomandhisteaminstalledoneELANgMV1616HDMI16x16MatrixandtwoELANgSC10SystemControllerstodistributethecontentandautomateit.TheyalsointegratedsevenELANgTP7in-walltouch

panels,oneELANKP7,andtheELANApponemployees’phones,whichenablesinstantcontrolfromanywhere.Now,anyemployeeintheNewYork,Atlanta,WashingtonD.C.andNashvillelocationscancontrolthevenue’smanydisplays,televisions,andprojectors,aswellastheextensivemulti-roomaudioandintegratedlightingsystems.“Wereplicatedthesystemacrossmultiplelocationsbecauseitworkssowell,”Wascomemphasized.WascomandhisteamuseoneELANgMV1616HDMI16x16Matrixwith72audioinputpathsand64audiooutputpathstocarryHDCP-compliantHDMI,Ethernet,serialandIRsignalsoverasinglecableviaHDBaseT.Now,CityWinerycaneasilydistributeaudioandvideoviaaCat-5cableandconvertitintoHDMItodistributetoaudioandvideodevicesthroughoutthefacility.Sincethevenueoftenholdsvariouseventsthatusebothprofessionalandcommercialaudiosimultaneously,theneedtodistributemultiplesignaltypesisoftheutmostimportance.“CityWinerywilloftenholdaprivatedinner,cookingclass,andconcertsimultaneously,indifferentroomsofthesamevenue,”Wascomexplained.“Eachoftheseeventsrequiresauniqueaudioandvideosignal.WithonlyoneELANgMV1616,wecandistributethatcontentseamlessly.AndthroughtheELANcontroller,weareabletoautomateeachdevice.”CityWinery’smanagersandbartendershavecontrolovertheELANtouchpanelswhenappropriate.Thesystemisseparatedintozonesbyroom;ifamanagerisoverseeingaprivatediningevent,heorshecaneasilycontrolthelighting,audioandvideowithinthatpartofthefacility.Or,theycouldsimplyclicka“dinnerparty”settingandhaveallvariouscommandsoccursimultaneously.“Weabsolutelylovethenewsystem’sease-of-use,”saidCityWineryVicePresidentofBusinessandVenueDevelopmentGregKitowicz.“Theinstantcontrolallowsourstafftochangetheambianceon-the-flyasneeded.Particularly,havingtheMobileApphasbeenagamechangerforallfiveofourfacilities.It’sveryconvenient.”Additionally,24LutronRadioRA2DecoraDimmers,fourLutronRadioRA2DimmingLEDDriversandfourLutronRadioRA2WallMountKeypadsareintegratedintotheELANsystemtoenableinstantcontrolandautomationofthevenue’ssophisticatedlightingsystem.“Thelightingvariessignificantlyfromroomtoroom,”Wascomsaid.“Weintegratedstagelightingintothesamesystemthatweintegratedrecessedmoodlightinginto.Weendedupwith40dimmableloadsofLutronincludingPHPMpowerextenders,LEDdrivers,and0-10vdimmingmodules.Itwasa
