■ Project will feature continuation of two

ongoing designs:

– All-Electric Two Seat Light Sport Aircraft

– Preliminary design, analysis and simulation

– Nuage UAV Trainer

– Final design, construction and flight testing

■ Conceptual design of a new aircraft

– 2017-18 AIAA Undergraduate Team Design

■ Design of a new all-

electric LSA

■ Aerodynamics,

structures, human

factors, avionics

■ Novel electric

propulsion systems

■ Wind tunnel testing,

prototyping and

analysis Airbus E-Fan All-Electric Demonstrator

Nuage Trainer UAV

■ Small (<25 kg) gas powered trainer UAV

■ Intended to be used as a “flying lab” to train operators,

maintainers and students

■ Equipped with remote sensing systems and an autopilot

■ 2017-18 team will begin construction (Fall) and test flight

demonstrator (Winter)
