Wifi SolutionStep-by-step instructions on setting up your iPad for EQ

Wifi at Carbrook State School

At a glance:For this fix you need a home/other wifi

network your iPad can join.

You will need to access your EQ Webmail via MIS to download the solution.

You then need to redo your wireless

settings when you come back to school.

Read on for detailed instructions...

1. Access the solutionGo to mis.eq.edu.au and

login using your EQ username and password

(the one you use to log on to school computers).

You will find an email from Mrs B (kboob) with a special file attached.

2. Install the solutionTap once on the

attachment and your iPad will automatically open it

in "Settings".

Tap "Install" and "Install Now".

3. Reconfigure at schoolBack at school, go to

"Settings", "Wifi" and tap the blue "i" next to QDETA-

X.

Tap "Forget Network".

Tap "Other".

Nearly there...Now add "iDET"

with security setting "WPA

Enterprise".

Don't forget to type "SOC\" before your username.

Password is the same as always.

4. Test your solutionIn the top left hand corner of your screen you should see the Wifi signal lit up.
