Memorial Day

Sunday Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday
I wish to thank Fr Cooney of St Raphael’s and Fr Stan of St
Cecilia’s Parish for displaying the Holy Family ICON at
their Parishes. The Holy Family ICON is on tour this past
year in the State of Florida and was blessed by the Holy
Father on June 29, 2016 when he was in the United States.
These past weeks have brought many candidates to the
Knights of Columbus with Council 6265 conducting Ad-
mission and Formation Degree’s and Council 2596 con-
ducting Admission Degree’s as well. I was notified by
State that each Council of District 59 is on track to become
Star Council.
This past month Council 6265 held a round table with din-
ner supplied by the Council and attracted six candidates to
admission to the Order from the Hispania Community.
Council 2596 held a fund-raiser chicken on the grill dinner for the Parish which was well at-
tended. Jesus the Worker continues to hold its monthly Sunday chicken on the grill after
Masses under the tent and finding a seat is always difficult.
Council 8440 is conducting membership drives at St Theresa and All Saints.
Thank You worthy Brothers for Your Commitment to the Order.
