Inner Beauty vs. Outer Beauty

What is beauty?

• Beauty is the quality present in a thing or a person that gives intense pleasure or deep satisfaction to the mind.

What is inner and outer beauty?

• Inner beauty is a person’s personality, traits, habits, intelligence, etc.• Outer beauty is a person’s shape,

color, elegance, complexion, etc

The first difference• People that care about inner beauty are much

more happier than people that care about outer beauty.

• People with inner beauty care about the people around them.

• They tend to get more friends because they are friendly, helpful, polite, kind, and popular due to their caring and cheerful personality.

• It is a fact that if one has a good personality people will want to be around and be friends with them.

• This is why people with inner beauty are much happier than people with outer beauty.

The second difference

• The second difference consists of people who care more about the physical appearance being very fearful in losing their “perfect” figure.

• They will continuously think that they are fat and starve themselves to death.

• This can lead to eating disorders like bulimia and anorexia nervosa.

• The reason they died is because they are too fearful about their weight till the point where they think that eating will make them fat and ugly.

• People with outside appearance don’t get the freedom to choose what to eat in order to stay thin and in shape.

• On the other hand, people with inner beauty can choose what to eat and they stay alive, healthy, and contented.

The third difference• A third difference is that people with inner

beauty are always contented with what they have.

• They usually have “hearts of gold” because they like helping people and are nice towards others.

• Most people with inner beauty feel very contented with their wealth and are mostly inclined to bless others with less fortune.

How are they similar?• Both of these are important during job

interviews, social statuses, friendships, and first impressions.

• The first impression you give to people is usually your appearance.

• During an interview, inner and outer beauties are very important because you want to look nice and intelligent so that people will want to hire you.
