Brdo – the domain of delights. The park is enchanting in all

seasons and will amaze you with many walking paths, ave-

nues, mysterious lakes and bridges. In the 18th century the Zois

brothers designed the first botanical garden in Slovenia, which

eloquently testifies of its natural beauty. On a tour through

the park you can meet many animal and plant species and

admire outstanding architecture. The Brdo renaissance castle

and thatched hayracks are only a part of the rich heritage that

here laid the foundations already more than 500 years ago.

Discover this green treasure that surprises with a mixture of

unique adventures. Go on an elegant horse carriage ride, ride

the Lipizzaner horses, play golf, have a picnic with a basket of

Brdo’s delicacies, experience the smoking of trouts, etc. You

will also be delighted even if you just take a walk in the park

alone or accompanied by our guide to explore the beauty of

The luxury of the past for the experiences of the presentThe mysterious Strmol Castle is located at the foot of Dvorjan-ski hrib in Cerklje na Gorenjskem, only 10 km from the Brdo, and is one of the best preserved castles in Slovenia.
