About us• Bononia Estate is a Bulgarian winery located in North

West of Bulgaria on the shores of the Danube river near Vidin in Koshava village

• Bononia Estate has 1500 decares own vineyards, modern

technical equipment & facilities for winemaking and is just about to open doors of a boutique hotel complex

• We produce quality wine with the typical character of the Danube - white, red wines and rosé

• Our history unites 3 centuries of tradition as the original building was established in 1895

• Our region is called “Golden Horn”, due to fertility of the soiland has some of the oldest wine traditions: here was opened the 1st wine school in the country

• In the middle of our vineyards passes Meridian #23

• Our main grape varieties are: (W) Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Traminer, Viognier

Bononia Estate Winery & Resort

In few months, Bononia Estate Resort will open its doors and let visitors take a tour around the restored building from 1895 and the preserved underground corridors. The resort includes a boutique hotel, a restaurant, a SPA zone, different wine tasting

rooms, a conference and events hall a swimming pool and other wine adventures and experiences. We look forward to welcome you as our guests!
