• Boulé – exclusive organization open to male college graduates. (a.ka. Sigma Pi Phi, or Sigma Pi Beta).

In many cities, Boule societies meet regularly

Fraternities & Sororities

• Alpha Phi Alpha – first Greek letter black fraternity, began at Cornell in 1906. Chapters soon began at Michigan, Yale, Columbia, & Ohio State

• Alpha Kappa Alpha – first black sorority, began at Howard Univ in 1908

• Sororities – Delta Sigma Theta, Zeta Phi Beta, Sigma Gamma Rho

• Fraternities – Phi Beta Sigma, Kappa Alpha Psi, Iota Phi Theta, Omega Psi Phi

• Objectives - scholarship, social grace, friendship, community involvement
