• Switzerland holds many international conferences (meetings between countries) in Geneva, Switzerland. Countries feel safe meeting in Switzerland because it does not take sides.

Switzerland Conventions focus on peace and preserving humanity during war.

• Switzerland has one of the world’s highest standards of living. It has a diversified, free market economy.

• Timber production is declining because government of Switzerland has set a limit tree cutting, this is due to the air pollution that damaged 35% of the country’s forests.
