Number of Healthy Families Children under 5 years of age

There are approximately 145,000 WIC aged children that are being transitioned from HFP to Medi-Cal

Healthy Families Children already on WIC

We estimate that there approximately 60,000 HFP children already on WIC.

However, this number is probably much higher based on how we collect information in ISIS.

Adjunctive Eligibility

• When a Healthy Families beneficiary transitions to Medi-Cal, they become adjunctively eligible.
