Leave the car behind, relax and enjoy the incredible views as you travel by comfortable coach to the park, then on to your chosen adventure using one of Banff’s many transit options.

BETWEEN CALGARY AND BANFF NATIONAL PARK
You have several choices for travelling between Calgary and Banff National Park. These services allow you to relax and enjoy the scenery even before you reach the park. When you are in the park, local transit and shuttle options will take you to all the places you want to explore. See sections #2 through #5 for more about these options.
PUBLIC TRANSIT

BETWEEN CALGARY (CROWFOOT LRT STATION) AND THE TOWN OF BANFF
On-It is a weekend transit service. Two morning runs and three evening runs also stop in Okotoks, Cochrane and Canmore. At least one morning run and one afternoon run stop at Somerset-Bridlewood LRT Station.
FREQUENCY10 departures from Calgary and 13 departures from Banff per day on Saturdays, Sundays and long weekends from June 17 to September 4.
FARESOne-way prices: - Adult (5+): $10 - Child* (2-5): free
*Children ages 2-5 must register for a free ticket to reserve a seat on the bus. Infants under the age of 2 ride on the lap of a passenger 15 years or older, no need to register.
On-It ticket holders ride free on Roam Public Transit in Banff and Canmore. Simply show your valid ticket to the Roam driver.

The free Parks Canada Shuttle makes it easy to move between Banff National Park’s two popular hubs, Banff and the village of Lake Louise. From each hub, you can continue to popular attractions within the park or stay to eat or shop.

This shuttle service offers transportation between downtown Banff (Banff Train Station, Banff Avenue at Elk Street, Banff Park Lodge), the Juniper Hotel, and Mount Norquay. From Mount Norquay, guests can explore the Sightseeing Chairlift, Via Ferrata, and hiking adventures.
