Watt’s Tower

Watts TowerLos Angeles, California USA

The Watts Tower took Simon Rodia 34 years to build. He was

a construction worker by day and an artist by night.

He built the tower by hand, no machines or scaffolding!

Rodia used broken bottles,

dishes and recycled materials to create

the beautiful mosaics.

Taj Mahal

Shah Jahan built the Taj Mahal in memory of his beloved wife. It

took 22 years to build.

It took 20,000 people to build the Taj Mahal. 2,000

elephants helped!

The Taj Mahal is an excellent example of symmetry.

The Building seems to change color as the light changes in different seasons

and times of day.
