- How to log in to my.sinclair.edu Open your internet browser
(ie. Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc.) and type my.sinclair.edu You
will see the my.sinclair login page

- How to log in to my.sinclair.edu On the my.sinclair login page,
enter your username and password. Your username is typically your
firstname.lastname in all lower case letters If you have a common
name (ex. John Smith) you may have numbers after your last name
Your password will be PassXXXX (XXXX = last 4 digits of your SSN).
Make sure you use a capital P Then either press Enter or click on
the Login button.

- How to log in to my.sinclair.edu After logging in you will be
prompted to change your password Current password is the PassXXXX
(XXXX = last 4 of SSN) The password requirements are as follows
Must be at least 8 characters long Must contain one capital letter
Must contain one number It may ask for a special character but that
is not necessary. Often times this will only prevent you from
changing your password depending on the special character you
use

filled out a network account form please fill one out Top portion
only No signature required Make sure you put your SSN!

- Access to Angel Courses (my.sinclair) The next screen that you
are brought to is the Welcome screen. At this screen you will want
to click on the blue box ANGEL Courses.

- Accessing Courses Depending on the access you have been
granted, you could see several Angel shells. Click on the Tech Prep
course you wish to access

- On the ANGEL Shell Home page click on the Lessons tab.

- Accessing Courses The Lessons tab will display the content that
has been provided for this shell. Click any folder/file to access
the content in the shell.

- All tests/learning materials will be under the Lessons tab Some
shells will be actual Sinclair courses ALH 1101 LAW 1101 Some
shells will be just tests/assessments and/or learning material BIO
1107 HIM 1101 MAT 1130 All students can check their grades using
the Reports tab Things to Keep in Mind

- Checking Grades Students can check their grades on the Reports
tab located in the same navigation bar as the Lessons tab

- Checking Grades The Reports console will be showing Make sure
the Report Settings tab is selected (default) Student should see
their name under the User(s) box

- Students can check their grades by changing the category to
Grades The Report should read Student Grades and the User(s)
(students) name should be in the box Checking Grades

- Click Run A profile of grades will show below the report
settings showing what grades the student is receiving Checking

- Instructors typically will not have access to the grades on
ANGEL Students will have to check under the Reports tab and you
will have to record the grade if you want to keep track of their
progress in ANGEL It is important you contact the Sinclair
Facilitator for your course if you have any issues with the
material in the ANGEL shell course Please contact the Tech Prep
office if you do not know who this person is and we will notify

- Credit Capture Electronic Credit Capture Forms Processes as

processes has been approved by Sinclairs Registration dept.
Electronic submissions instead of paper forms One master form of
each class with signatures to keep on file All grades are to be
submitted to the Tech Prep office by June 1 st
