ANALYTICS Proof of Value
The ObjectiveOur primary objective is a rapid demonstration of effectiveness of Fuzzy Logix products
and services to cost-effectively expand your analytics capabilities, or accelerate a
particular analytic use case. We will conduct a Proof of Value (POV) on your data by
running it in our already established environment. This allows you to compare the
performance and the correctness of the outcome.
The Fuzzy Logix team will work with you for data transfer. Close collaboration with your
teams and clear definition of outcome is essential for a successful result.
Scope of ServicesDiscovery Session (1-2 Hours)
Our team works with your IT and business teams to assess and understand the data and
to agree on the data transfer process.
With the Business team, we will identify the use case, the business perspective of data,
and current pain points with a specific focus on how current analytics tools are used. With
your IT team, we will spend time on data formats, mechanism of data transfer, and the
performance of your current analytical tools. This could be a telephone or conference call
discussion, or face-to-face with one of our Data Scientists at your location.
POV Execution (1-2 Days)
After the receipt of your data, we will analyze it with our world class product, DB Lytix™.
Depending on the agreed scope, we may run the analyses with multiple techniques. We
will compare it with the expected results and the timelines.
POV Readout (1-2 Hours)
Fuzzy Logix will review the results of the POV with you, answer any questions you have,
and propose next steps.

Pre-requisitesThe following are required to ensure a smooth start and successful execution of the project:
Deliverables and OutcomesAt the conclusion of the POV, all findings will be reviewed and results presented. We will work with your teams to compare the outcomes.
Duration and ResourcingDURATION: A POV by design is supposed to finish in under a week of elapsed time from the time the customer data is ready. The data is to be
uploaded to existing, functional systems hosted by our team. We then deploy a suitable team of analytics consultants/data scientists to cover
both business and technical topics and to provide daily (often more frequent) results on the project.
If it is discovered that the required effort will exceed 2-3 business days of work, we will discuss the option of converting it into a Proof of
Concept (POC) with you.

Recommendations on Next Steps
The following resources are needed for the Discovery Session: Project Manager, business users, IT architecture/admin, and users/ admin for your current analytics tools. And for the POV readout, the executive sponsor of the
analytics initiative should be present.
One week before the Analytics Discovery Workshop, your team will complete a Fuzzy Logix supplied questionnaire, describing
your analytics architecture and pain points.
All work activities will be summarized and joint recommendations made on
a set of tactical next steps.
