Lincoln had many jobs before he was president. One of his first jobs was splitting rails to make fences. This is an actual fence

Lincoln lived in New Salem from 1831-1837. He was 21 years old

when he moved there.

While Lincoln was a lawyer, he was famous for wearing a stovepipe hat.
