General issue:!H o w t o d w e l l t h e d e n s e c i t y ?!!!Cities are growing more and more important in relation to ! each individuals daily living conditions. In some regions, like in the case of ! southern Sweden and the east part of Denmark, cities are ”clustered” into a dense ! ! network of centers with their own identity and character. Patrick Geddes named ! ! ! ! this with the term ”conurbation” in 1915. !!! We are, in this course, interested in exploring what this phenomena implies ! ! ! for the future challenges within our field as architects! !!! ! ! Our focus will be on how people can make out a daily living in terms of !! ! a work-based income and how Architecture can support such a development.!! ! ! We do in this take help from studies and theories related !! ! ! ! ! ! to ”The Next Economy”.!
