My Pumpkin and Math/ScienceMy Pumpkin and Math/Science In this section each student should have their own
Pumpkin. We will then all make measurements of how many
inches our pumpkin is around. How many lines our pumpkins have. Estimated how many seeds are inside We will then make a graph of our estimated guess
and are findings.*You will be graded based on a
rubrics that I will go over so you understand what is expected of you.

This is a my Pumpkin. I guessed it had 16 lines, I then counted and it had 20. I then estimated it to be 18” around I then took my ruler and measured 15” around. I then took a wild guess and said that there would be 100 seeds in my Pumpkin. I was wrong there were only 75. This graph demonstrates my estimations and my findings. You will also be making your own Bar graphs and estimations.
