A Peek at Our Week…Mrs. Silvestri’s ELA Grades 6-8

Week of January 10, 2020 This Week in ELA Grades 6-8...Sixth Grade read independent reading books, analyzed poetry, critically read nonfiction texts on Scholastic Scope, and reviewed center activities from last week. Our poetry recitations are due Jan. 16th. We drafted and revised expository essays. and we used peer feedback and revision to improve our writing. We also began our work with Wordly Wise Lesson 7 words, and our Lesson 7 spelling and vocabulary tests will be Friday, January 17th.
