Project Overview
The project consists of a $15,000,000master planed reconfiguration of theMarathon operations facilities includingnew offices, operations and laboratoryfacilities along with a new maintenancebuilding and security command center.This project also included a large utilitycomponent where all major utilitieswere either relocated or extended.

Project Overview
Project Cost: $13,000,000Project Size: 100,000 SF
The High School is designed to providefor an optimum capacity of 600students. The design consists ofclassrooms supporting the Districtʼsrequired instructional programs.
A publicly accessible Library andMedia Center acts as a community-wide information and learning center.The Commons area/Dinning Hall with acapability of 200-300 students.
The UIL Competition Gym issupported by Athletic and PE dressingrooms. The Music, Drama and Artprograms are enhanced by a formalauditorium and stage.
Role in this Project
Team Leader in the Design andProduction of Construction Documentsand Specifications. The New FranklinHigh School was published in theNovember 2006 Issue of The AmericanSchool and University Magazine aspart of the “Works in Progress –Outstanding Designs”

Features include optimal use of naturallight throughout the school, exposedstructure using glue-lam woodmembers as well as sustainablematerials throughout.
Role in this Project
As a Junior Designer for the WestBrazos Junior High, I implemented myknowledge and experience tocoordinate Consultants and Engineersin order to comply with the Designintent. Provided Design presentationsand assisted the Owner in material andcolor selections for the Project. Icoordinated efforts with the ProjectArchitect and LEED AP to create aschool that promoted Sustainability, aswell as excellent Design features..
