ENVIRONMENTAL HAZARDSThisproductistoxictonon-targetplants.Donotapplydirectlytowater,toareaswheresurfacewaterispresentortointertidalareasbelowthemeanhighwatermark.Donotcontaminatewaterwhencleaningequipmentordisposingofequipmentwashwatersorrinsate.Thisproductmaycontaminatewaterthroughdriftofsprayinwind.Followprecautionsforusetoavoidwindspraydrift.This product has a high potential for runoff after application. Poorly draining soils and soils withshallowwater tablesaremoreprone toproduce runoff thatcontains thisproduct. Alevel,well-maintainedvegetativebufferstripbetweenareastowhichthisproductisappliedand surfacewater features such asponds, streams and springs will reduce the potentialforcontaminationofwater fromrunoff. Runoffof thisproductwillbereducedbyavoidingapplications when rainfall is forecasted to occur within 48 hours. Sound erosion controlpracticeswillreducethisproduct’scontributiontosurfacewatercontamination.This chemical has properties and characteristics associated with chemicals detected ingroundwater.Theuseofthischemicalinareaswheresoilsarepermeable,particularlywherethewatertableisshallow,mayresultinground-watercontamination.

AGRICULTURAL USE REQUIREMENTSUse this product only in accordance with its labeling and with theWorker ProtectionStandard, 40 CFR part 170. This standard contains requirements for the protection of agricultural workers on farms, forests, nurseries, and greenhouses, and handlers ofagriculturalpesticides.Itcontainsrequirementsfortraining,decontamination,notificationandemergencyassistance.Italsocontainsspecificinstructionsandexceptionspertainingtothestatementsonthislabelaboutpersonalprotectiveequipment(PPE)andrestrictedentry intervals.TherequirementsinthisboxonlyapplytousesofthisproductthatarecoveredbytheWorkerProtectionStandard.
Donotenterorallowworkerentryintotreatedareasduringtherestrictedentryinterval(REI) of 12 hours.
PPE that is required for early entry to treated areas that is permitted under the Worker ProtectionStandardandthatinvolvescontactwithanythingthathasbeentreatedsuchasplants,soilorwater,iscoverallsoverlong-sleevedshirtandlongpants,socksandshoesandchemical-resistantglovesmadeofanywaterproofmaterial.

WEED CONTROL INFORMATION LAUDISHerbicideeffectivelycontrolsabroadarrayofgrassandbroadleafweeds,includingbiotypesresistanttoglyphosate-,triazine-,phenoxy-,benzoic-,andALS-inhibitingherbicides,whenappliedat3floz/Aalongwiththerecommendedadjuvantsystem(Tables1and2).Bestcontrolofbroadleafweedsisachievedwhenweedsarelessthan6”inheightandactivelygrowing. Thebestcontrolofgrassweeds isachievedprior to tilleringandwhengrassesareactivelygrowing.Incorn,theadditionofatrazineataminimum0.5lbai/Awillimprovecontrolofbroadleafweedslargerthan6“inheightandincreasethespeed,spectrum,andconsistencyofgrasscontrol.Alwaysfollowthemostrestrictiveuseratesanduseinstructionslistedonthelabelingofalltankmixpartners.Itisthepesticideuser’sresponsibilitytoensurethatallproductsinthelistedmixturesareregisteredfortheintendeduse.Usersmustfollowthe most restrictive directions and precautionary language of the products in the mixture (for example,firstaidfromoneproduct,spraydriftmanagementfromanother).

CultivationCultivation can help remove suppressed weeds or multiple flushing weeds. However,cultivationshouldnotbeperformedwithin7daysofanapplicationofLAUDISHerbicideasthiscoulddecreasetheeffectivenessofweedcontrolduetodisruptionofherbicidetranslocationin the plant.
RESISTANCE MANAGEMENTThis product is a Group 27 herbicide. A given weed population may contain or developresistancetoaherbicideafterrepeateduse.Appropriateresistance-managementstrategiesshouldbefollowedtomitigateordelayresistance.ThefollowingIntegratedWeedManagementTechniquesareeffectiveinreducingproblemswithherbicideresistantweedbiotypes.Itisbesttousemultiplepracticestomanageordelayresistance,asnosinglestrategyislikelytobetotally effective.
•Rotate crops.Croprotationdiversifiesweedmanagement.•Rotate Herbicide-tolerant traits.AlternateherbicidetoleranttraitsandoruseHTtraitstacks
formoreefficientrotations.•Rotate and tankmix modes of action.UsetankmixpartnersandmultipleMOAsduringboth
thegrowingseasonandfromyeartoyeartoreducetheselectionpressureofasingleMOA.•Know your weeds, know your field.Closelymonitorproblematicareaswithdifficulttocontrol

Field/Small Scale BioassayA field/small scale bioassay must be completed before rotating to a crop other than thosespecified in the Rotational Crop Restrictions section of this label. To conduct an effectivefield bioassay,growstripsofthecrop(s)youintendtogrowinthefollowingseasoninafieldpreviouslytreatedwithLAUDISHerbicide.TheteststripshouldbeplacedinacontrolledareaandshouldincludevariationsinsoilsuchastypeandpH.Cropresponsetothebioassaywilldetermineif thecrop(s)grownintheteststripscanbegrownsafely intheareaspreviouslytreatedwithLAUDISHerbicide.

Foraneffectivesmallscalebioassay,collectuniformsamplesofallsoiltypesfromtheLAUDISHerbicide-treatedfieldandplacethesoilintoasturdycontainer.Plantthedesiredcovercropintothesoil,applywaterandplacethecontainerinawarmsunnyareatoallowgerminationandgrowthofthecrop.Monitorgrowthofthecovercropoverathreetofourweekperiod.Ifthecropemergesandgrowsnormally,therisktoestablishandgrowthecovercropintheLAUDISHerbicide-treatedfieldshouldbetolerable.
SPRAY DRIFT MANAGEMENTSpraydriftmayresultininjurytonontargetcropsorvegetation.Toavoidspraydrift,donotapplywhenwindspeed isgreater than10MPHorduringperiodsof temperature inversions.Donotapplywhenweatherconditions,windspeedorwinddirectionmaycausespraydrifttonon-targetareas.AVOIDINGSPRAYDRIFTATTHEAPPLICATIONSITE ISTHERESPONSIBILITYOFTHEAPPLICATOR.
Sensitive AreasOnlyapply thisproductwhen thepotential fordrift toadjacentsensitiveareas (e.g. residentialareas,bodiesofwater,knownhabitatforthreatenedorendangeredspecies,nontargetcrops)isminimal(e.g.whenwindis10MPHorlessandisblowingawayfromsensitiveareas).
Avoidingspraydriftattheapplicationsiteistheresponsibilityoftheapplicator.Theinteractionofmanyequipment-and-weather-relatedfactorsdeterminethepotentialforspraydrift.Theapplicatorandthegrowerareresponsibleforconsideringallthesefactorswhenmakingdecisions.
Donotapplyundercircumstanceswherepossibledrifttounprotectedpersons,ortofood,forage,orotherplantingsthatmightbedamaged,ascropsthereofmayberenderedunfitforsale,useor consumption.
Information On Droplet Size Themosteffectivewaytoreducedriftpotentialistoapplylargedroplets.Thebestdriftmanagementstrategy is toapply the largestdroplets thatstill providesufficientweedcoverageandcontrol.Applyinglargerdropletswillreducedriftpotential,butwillnotpreventdriftifapplicationsaremadeimproperly,orunderunfavorableenvironmentalconditions(seeWind,TemperatureandHumidity,and Temperature Inversion sections on next page).

Uniform, thorough spray coverage is important to achieve consistent weed control. SelectnozzlesandpressurethatdeliverMEDIUMspraydropletsasindicatedinnozzlemanufacturer’scatalogsandinaccordancewithASAEStandardS-572.NozzlesthatdeliverCOARSE spray dropletsmaybeusedtoreducespraydriftprovidedsprayvolumeperacre(GPA)isincreasedtomaintaincoverageofweeds.
Controlling Droplet Size •Volume-Usehighflowratenozzlestoapplythehighestpracticalsprayvolume.Nozzleswith
higherratedflowsproducelargerdroplets.•Pressure - Do not exceed the nozzle manufacturer’s recommended pressures. For many
nozzletypeslowerpressureproduceslargerdroplets.Whenhigherflowratesareneeded,usehigherflowratenozzlesinsteadofincreasingpressure.
•Numberofnozzles-Usetheminimumnumberofnozzlesthatprovideuniformcoverage.•NozzleType -Useanozzle type that isdesigned for the intendedapplication.Withmost
nozzletypes,narrowersprayanglesproducelargerdroplets.Considerusinglow-driftnozzles.Solidstreamnozzlesorientedstraightbackproducethelargestdropletsandthelowestdrift.

STORAGE AND DISPOSALDo not contaminate water, food or feed by storage or disposal. PESTICIDE STORAGE Keep container tightly closed when not in use. Avoid cross contamination with other pesticides.PESTICIDE DISPOSAL Wastes resulting from the use of this product may be disposed of on site or at an approved waste disposal facility. Improper disposal of excess pesticide, spray mixture, or rinsate is a violation of Federal law. For questions about proper disposal, contact your state pesticide and environmental control agency.CONTAINER HANDLINGRigid, Non-refillable containers less than 5 gallons Nonrefillable container. Do not reuse or refill this container. Offer for recycling, if available. Triple rinse container (or equivalent) promptly after emptying. Triple rinse as follows: Empty the remaining contents into application equipment or a mix tank and drain for 10 seconds after the flow begins to drip. Fill the container 1/4 full with water and recap. Shake for 10 seconds. Pour rinsate into application equipment or a mix tank or store rinsate for later use or disposal. Drain for 10 seconds after the flow begins to drip. Repeat this procedure two more times. After triple rinsing procedure dispose of container in a sanitary landfill, or by incineration; or, if allowed by State and local authorities, by burning. If burned, stay out of smoke.
